Pros

  • this is a beautiful bag.
  • Love the color of the bag!
  • Very impressed with the space and its possibility as a personal item.
  • I actually managed to fit a lot more than I could with my 22L AER pack I used to travel with and am very impressed Overall very impressed with how much I could fit as a personal item, and will be using this as a potential carry on with...
  • Personally I like the upgrades they did for the Transporter 26+6. ... I also like the aesthetics of the Transporter and it looks like it maybe more comfortable to carry because of the strap design. I’d also prefer the bigger single water...

Cons

  • I have absolutely no clue what this bag has over the standard 26+6 for the additional £125
  • I see this opinion all over in this sub- that the Osprey Daylite 26+6 is ugly and the new Osprey Transporter is good-looking. I have the exact opposite opinion and I feel crazy 😂
  • The Transporter is just slightly larger volume wise and is designed to expand out (the outer part) rather than making the inside compartment larger. It is an ingenious design, imho. The downside is that it can get pretty deep pretty quic...
  • Even ignoring the dramatic price difference, it fails as an improvement to the current version of the Osprey Daylite 26+6 for travel purposes.
  • I really don’t like the lack of loops and don’t understand the purpose of the two loops at the bottom of the bag. Even though it lacks a second bottle holder, the primary bottle holder is massive compared to the Daylight. Also, it’s pret...

The Transporter is just slightly larger volume wise and is designed to expand out (the outer part) rather than making the inside compartment larger. It is an ingenious design, imho. The downside is that it can get pretty deep pretty quickly because you can keep fitting just one more thing. The new materials are heavier.

I love my Transporter. It has a solid build and is comfortable to wear. I kept documents and a tablet in the laptop compartment, and they were safe. It fit under the airplane seat easily.
