I tested Niri and it worked great.

OP if you want to get funky with the customization you might look into niri (https://github.com/niri-wm/niri), but maybe dont get into it too soon, its quite a jump in complexity.
PikaOS and you choose Sway, Hyprland or Niri... Niri is my favourite
I use niri as tiling-scrolling wm after also using sway. Would not switch back again. Tiling-scrolling is great and you can also create custom effects etc...
