Nintendo Switch Lite

Pros

• Nothing to regret, it has a form factor that I’ll sorely miss going forward :( I’ll never get rid of mine.
• Since they’re so young I’d almost say you should get them the Lite version, which is cheaper although you can’t use it on the TV.
• while true, i just bought a switch lite and loaded it during sales with dozens of games that will last me a lifetime
• A Switch Lite can do everything a Normal switch can, EXCEPT dock to a TV. ... If you only planned on using it as a handheld console. It would be a good move.
• But for simplicity, the switch lite would be a good option.

Cons

• The Switch Lite is a handheld only unit and cannot be docked to a TV, So unless you wanted to buy one for each kid, it would be very difficult to share.
• Parent context: The switch I have is a switch lite if that makes a differwnce Reply: If your system can no longer read game carts, then the reader would need to be replaced. Nintendo could repair it or you could try it yourself.
• my daughter was trying to play animal crossing, I was trying to play tears of the kingdom, my son was trying to play breath of the wild, and my other son was trying to play plants vs, zombies - and we could not lol it kept booting one pe...
• It has some scratches on the screen which aren't terrible but they're annoying/difficult to ignore since they're even more visible while playing games, also a crack in the home button.
• I feel like the Switch lite would be too small, so the regular units.
