Nikon Z50

Pros

• Even if you ignore the video stuff, the z50ii is just better than the z50 (which, to be clear, was and still is a fantastic camera).
• I've got a nikon z50 as a beginner camera, it's small nit too heavy and I'm loving it.
• Dimension-wise, I think you might want to consider the Nikon Z50. It's a tad smaller than the X-T5.
• I would recommend the Nikon Z50. On MPB, you can find them around $400 in good condition... Personal experience: I enjoyed learning the Z50, it was fun to shoot during events for my school.
• If you're open to mirrorless, the Nikon Z50 is a great option, though it might stretch your budget a bit.

Cons

• The Nikon Z50 part costs about 45€ since it contains a clip, chips, diodes and resistors surface mounted straight onto the flex cable. Harder to manufacture and likely a salvaged part.
• But if the rear display is actually broken that would be a hard pass for me - too much money and hassle to get it fixed.
