Nikon Z5 II

If I were buying a camera in that price range, it would be a Nikon Z5ii.

Nikon's Z5ii is unquestionably the best value full-frame body on the market at the moment. That thing's a beast of a camera, especially for it's price.

The Z5ii is an incredibly good camera, and I think is pretty much objectively the best bang-for-the-buck full frame camera.

If you are not looking at the z5ii as a contender then you are possibly missing out on the best FF camera of 2025.

For the first, I think the best bang-for-the-buck camera currently would be the Nikon Z5ii. It's a fantastic camera, especially for the price. 24mp, really solid AF, good all-round performer.

So far the camera is really nice! i mostly switched cause i wanted to switch away from canon for a plethora of reasons- ive been really happy with this. it feels a lot more solid in hand and the controls are really nice, the UI can be a lil cluttered at times but i think ill get used to that after using it for a bit more.

If you can extend you budget a touch, the Nikon Z5ii is amazing. I just picked it for $1700. The AF is great, and it has tons of modern features.

I haven’t used it personally but the Z5ii looks like a great hybrid mirrorless option.

The canon r6 mark i, r, and r8, the Nikon z5ii, z7ii, and z6ii are all still capable for your work

Their cameras are usually the best performers for hybrid shooters in their price point (see Z5II and Z6III).
