Nikon D7000

Pros

• So I got the Nikon d7000 as well as the 105mm 2.8d and the 50mm 1.8g
• Off hand, I see KEH has a Nikon D7000 which would be a good fit. It also uses a crop-sensor so something around the 55-210mm focal length that I mentioned for the Sony should be good to start out.
• If you've had experience before and not a beginner, you'll probably like the d7000 has it's got plenty of physical controls. ... The only downside is the weight but imo it's not that bad..
• The D7000 is the best possible camera that'll work with it under $200.
• Look for older models like the Nikon D7000, Canon 60D, Pentax K5 etc with kit lenses. These should be obtainable used for about £150. WARNING: most DSLRs are absolute bricks and weigh a ton, don't choose this option if you want something...

Cons

• D7000 has live view for this purpose but its TERRIBLE, AF is very slow and almost not usable it can barely focus and keeps hunting compared to how it is just through the viewfinder, and it makes it unusable on a daily basis.
• Used to lug a Nikon D7000 when I 2-bagged. Thing weighed like 2kg/4.4lbs. Took up like a third of my 25L daybag.
• Shot on my Nikon D7000 (NOT AI)
• Also if I remember correctly, the D7000 is an aps-c sensor, as opposed to full frame?
• That seems like a very high price for a D7000.
