Nightbitch (film)

Pros

• these are the ones I've read that hit the same spot Bunny did for me: Any books by Rachel Harrison Nightbitch by Rachel Yoder (also a TV show!)

• Nightbitch by Rachel Yoder - a woman who is a full-time mum during the day undergoes a mysterious transformation at night. Captures female rage pretty well.
• I love love loved Exalted! Also Nightbitch.
• I cannot recommend it highly enough for current and recent toddler-parents. ... We kept our eyes pried open for an hour-and-a-half to see it through to the end. We had no choice --we were in a state of enraptured catharsis.

Cons

• My wife is a stay-at-home mom and she hated this movie. She hated the husband, as did I, to be fair, but she called it quits after the first half hour.
• I loved it too. The real lesson is, as you say, about the relationship. That said, one thing I didn't quite like, from a moral perspective, was that the well-being of their kid was never discussed when they separated.

• I loved this movie so much, but hated how she had to have a huge professional and personal comeback that would make her considered “productive” or a “success” by societal standards in order for this movie to wrap up nicely.
