NewPipe

Pros

• Fwiw, NewPipe is worth a look if you mostly use subscriptions/search. No algorithmic Shorts feed is kinda the point.
• NewPipe. Download videos ad free and strangle the influencer economy.

• NewPipe https://f-droid.org/packages/org.schabi.newpipe/ for YouTube without signing in.
• NewPipe is the main one for me. Not just because of the features, but because it makes YouTube feel less like a trap. No algorithmic homepage in my face, no Shorts pushing itself constantly, and it feels more intentional.

Cons

• newpipe has webm support which is win win but it's recommendations suck
• Seal, Tubular and NewPipe have never worked for me.
• ah yeah I used NewPipe before too, but ditched it because I can't login
• But I worry about whether it has the same level of privacy and security as other apps like Newpipe and Tubular.
• I think that, despite its simplicity or maybe because of it, NewPipe beats it (apart from the fact that it removes the advertising) but I have a problem with NewPipe and it is precisely that it doesn't offer this algorithm and I can't lo...
