Nest Thermostat

Pros

• My nest thermostat supports separate sensors, but that's part of the Google nest hardware platform.
• I also have one Nest Thermostat.
• Nest thermostat will hold your temporary setting for a certain time or until the next scheduled change.
• I decided to swap it out with my NEST thermostat after they installed their thermostat but they got an alert that the system was offline for more than 48 hours which prompted them to reach out to me to check on the system.

Cons

• First automation is simple: if the humidity is 10% higher in the bathroom compared to the bedroom(Nest thermostat) turn on the fan.
• Parent context: I think people who are new to iot get sucked into tuya or other clouds not understanding the pros and cons. Before this, I think belkin generally has a decent reputation for average quality devices at low prices. I'm sure...
• I have a few feit light bulbs, and a nest thermostat.
• Can anyone tell from this if a Nest thermostat will work here?
• My old Nest thermostat decided it wanted to randomly turn on the aux heat strips when the A/C was on. Turns out it was a short in the base plate and it's not something you can repair.
