I agree with Mysa… I currently have 9 of the $150 version (Mysa has sales quite often and they also partner with various utilities so did not pay that much). I went with the more expensive ones as they can be put into a zone and have a few more features that I like. ... Generally I have been happy with the app as well as the units. ... But overall I would happily recommend Mysa.
If you convert the heater to a regular thermostat you could use something like Mysa + Google home to do this.
I went with Mysa due to the NS power rebate of $180 per 4 pack of them.
Heat pumps and baseboard could use Mysa. Costco has 4 packs of Mysa lite for $260 - $100 BC hydro rebate.
