• But of course I’ll play Munchkin. It’s the perfect pub game, cos you can kind of just not pay attention and have some drinks and chat at the same time.

Cons

• To me it's so formulaic. The first person to get to the final room never wins the fight because, surprise surprise, everyone is holding something to screw them over. It's then just a case of whether everyone has enough...
• Munchkin is frequently referred to as an hour of fun in a 3 hour game.
• I don't hate it, I just find it uninteresting. It's like a long-running gag where I got the joke the first few times around and it doesn't feel like the joke is going anywhere.
• That and it routinely overstays it's welcome, where winning is less about a good play and more that everyone has simply spent all their cards stopping the last three attempts to win. Game ends up lasting an extra 30 minutes because of it...
