MSI Katana

Pros

• So far I’m loving the katana, it has enough power to get the sound I’m looking for in 90% of the stuff I play now.
• Big katana fan though! Sweet ride it’s one of the next ones I want to get on for sure
• Then, my new motherboard has only stereo sound! So it's either a new sound card or the Katana.
• More all mountain, more adjustability: katana
• The katana is stiffer and has different straps for more adjustments, but that's it. For an intermediate boarder like me, even if the katana is "better", given the 40 dollar price difference, I wouldn't be able to tell the difference

Cons

• the MSI line of laptops, especially the Thin, Katana, and some of their other entry-level ones, have absolute garbage build quality renowned for breaking display hinges frequently, which leads to display problems and of course stability/...
• I cannot, in good conscious, recommend anyone a MSI Katana. The only decent MSI options are, Titan > Raider > Vector. Anything below a Vector is practically hot garbage.
• As far as amps go, don't get a katana or any other cheapo modeling amps, just go ahead and skip to an amp you won't outgrow.
• Plus you'll have way more amp sims and effects to mess around with than the Katana, and for metal stuff like Neural DSP plugins are gonna blow any practice amp out of the water
• I have been looking at legion 5 pro, asus tuf series, msi katana, and some rog strix models but reviews are all over the place.
