Pros

  • I didn’t find the procedure painful either.
  • I got morpheus8 a couple of times now and it helped for a bit.
  • There are lots of no downtime laser treatments that will stimulate collagen - fraxel, morpheus8, IPL, Clear and Brilliant, etc.
  • Morpheus8 for sure. Things slightly improved after Sculptra but I still had lots of laxity.
  • 36/f two weeks post one treatment of Morpheus8 and about two months post third Sculptra treatment. I have very bad skin (basically lifelong acne) so my results might be more dramatic than someone with decent skin. Definitely worth it.

Cons

  • Morpheus8, it was so expensive for meh results.
  • It hurts, but it’s bearable. Tiny bit of swelling (not obvious to anyone else) for about a week.
  • My brother and sister both said the pain was excrutiating; but I literally felt nothing - sometimes felt a bit of a jolt here and there, but it was really tolerable
  • My First Morpheus was the exact same, really no discomfort at all. The last two have been so painful there's no way I can do it again.
  • It wasn't pleasant by any means, but I was expecting soooo much worse.

I’ve had derms tell me that Morpheus 8 shouldn’t be used on the face because it’s too rough. (The skin on other parts of your body are thicker and you probably won’t mind fat loss there.)

I had it done. It was very painful and I have a higher pain tolerance. ... Even numbed and on a painkiller during procedure, I felt nerve pain radiate to my tooth. I had the chicken skin marks on my neck fur 3-4 weeks. They said I was so lucky it didn’t permanently scar me.

Based on my experience, my first two were totally manageable when it came to pain, which wasn’t surprising because I have a moderate tolerance to pain ... But then I took a long break before completing my 3rd session, in that time between I’d lost a bit of weight, and in that last session I was crying. The pain was unbearable.
