Moon Player

Pros

• Most of what I use Moon Player for is encoded in HEVC (H.265).
• The best way to watch the first couple seasons of *Strange New Worlds* is to remux the 4K Blu-rays and transfer or stream them to your Vision Pro using a player app such as CineUltra, Screenlit, Moon Player, SKYBOX, or 4XVR.
• Moon player and 4xvr seem to have best quality.
• Currently I use the Moon player to access my Plex server and play 3D SBS vids.
• Moon Player if you have a bunch of your own videos downloaded and want to watch on it.

Cons

• Moon player is bad but probably bc Apple limits third party VR players so they all look horrible
• Home video playing in moon player 3d is ok but streaming YouTube even not the 4k or 8k is stuttering almost unwatchable.
• I just got my Vision Pro and started using moon player, but it’s very choppy when playing YouTube videos in 3d.
• You can download the movie and play it in CineUltra, Moon Player, or Screenlit with realtime 3D conversion
• CineUltra, Moon Player, and Screenlit can do it in realtime.
