The little impeller that measures flow uses a mirror and it gets gunked up with silt and stops recording since I have no upstream filter. They do sell a replacement as cleaning it with vinegar is not as effective as it should be. I had an early model with the green knob and it stopped working and I needed to RMA it. ... It has AI to try to figure out what is using water. It’s not bad at the job, but it does struggle with smart irrigation that have variable durations like Rachio (seems better recently).
He said that a lot that he has installed the homeowner has had him remove because the valve keeps shutting when it shouldn't and other issues.
