Minocycline

Pros
- The thing that helped my skin more than anything was a 3 month round of antibiotics (my doc prescribed minocycline). Might be worth asking about.
- besides prescribing my minocycline and telling me to buy a bunch of skincare stuff (which I did) they told me to stop taking creatine.
- I used to get red bumps on my neck and scalp that resembled ingrown hairs and my dermatologist put me on minocycline and they went away. I take it now if I have a flare up.
Cons
- Minocycline fucked me up. I know I'm one of those "1%" cases but it left me with permanent tinnitus. It was supposed to go away when I stopped the meds but it didn't, and that was probably 15 years ago now. When I was on it, I had myself...
- minocycline and adatar for 2-3 months.
- She also prescribed me with 3 months of Minocycline in November. I'm on my last month of it now, but if anything my acne has gotten slightly worse (a bit more painful and clustered).

Minocycline fucked me up. I know I'm one of those "1%" cases but it left me with permanent tinnitus. It was supposed to go away when I stopped the meds but it didn't, and that was probably 15 years ago now. When I was on it, I had myself and my whole family convinced I had MS. It gave me double vision, which was the scariest part. I would try to sit on a chair and end up sitting on the arm or missing it completely. I had no balance and couldn't drive. I was also extremely fatigued.
