Merkur 23C

Pros

• I started with a Merkur 23c, it’s definitely a learning curve but it’s so satisfying once you get it down.
• Today was a fantastic shave with Noble Otter RAWR. It has a really like and sweet smell. It older enough really reminds me of product my Ma used when I was kid. It’s some nice nostalgia. I used my G20 affectionately called the Soup bowl...
• I love the shave my 23c gives me, but I also want something that's made with better materials that can survive a fall or two without bending or damaging something.
• A freezing Orbit set and Merkur 23C. Cold winter morning. Cold water lather. Cold post shave rinse.
• So a rather long handle might suit you better. In that case I would go with the 23c

Cons

• Cost for some I'm looking at are quite expensive upfront (namely the Leaf, less so Merkur 23C)
• Thanks but I couldn't find the 25C inox, only the closed comb 23C.
• So my main complaint on the 23c was it's a bit too mild, one cannot feel the blade over the skin, not much feedback to remove the shortest hairs, not having the bite people think when they first imagine the word "Razor". Of course loving...
• I've seen on Amazon the King C Gillette, Merkur 23C and 34C, and ads on instagram for Henson razors but I'm not sure what to look into.
• I was tired of the pimples, nicks, expense of cartridges, and struggling with learning technique for the first DE razor I tried, the Merkur 23C.
