Pros
- They helped me to set up a business bank account with Mercury (an online bank based in the US). It was kind of expensive, but I've had no issues recieving money in USD to this account.
- The merc is like a little stiffer slightly directional doa.
- Mercury is an excellent 1 board quiver for someone who may not know exactly what type of riding they want to do yet but wants to ensure they are buying something good.
- I opened a New Mexico LLC ... Then I got an IRS EIN number which allowed me to use Mercury/Wise/Stripe to accept payments. ... No surprises with taxes/banking/compliance
- Some online/fintech business accounts are much more flexible. Look at options like Mercury, Relay, Novo, Wise Business, etc. They usually: * Accept a virtual mailbox as the company mailing/registered address, and * Ask separately...
Cons
- I was looking into the Black Snowboard of Death/Megadeath or the Mercury/Mega Merc or even the Kazu to compliment.
- I was still able to get roof replacement with Allstate and at a better rate with everyone than Mercury who was depreciation only.
- I thought they only do business accounts?
- Parent context: $4k can get you a very cheap, basic, and solid car. Toyota Echo/Yaris, Honda Fit, Scion xA/xB/xD, Mazda2/Mazda3, older Jeep Grand Cherokee, Nissan Cube (manual transmission only), and any Buick/Mercury/Lincoln sedan will...

I live in Chile and at that time there was no such brand, only Mercury. I bought it once and it worked out well for me.

Toyota Echo/Yaris, Honda Fit, Scion xA/xB/xD, Mazda2/Mazda3, older Jeep Grand Cherokee, Nissan Cube (manual transmission only), and any Buick/Mercury/Lincoln sedan will all be viable options. Reply: Most of those, except the Toyota/Honda are high depreciation. Especially the Cube, Mercury, and Buick.
