If you have the same book on the kindle app and audible, not only can you play the audio file from the kindle app but it will also highlight the text you’re reading, as it’s narrated, and turn the pages for you. Kinda great!
You could get booked through audible, then use libation to download them
Outside of his writing, he has to get a lot of credit for speaking out against Amazon/Audible, doing what he can to help smaller authors, fighting for fair payment and rights.

I started DCC after lots of hesitation, and went for the audio books, because I had Audible and everyone kept saying the audiobooks is were where it’s at.
As a person who likes a.lot.of indie authors who find the self in the Amazon system, Audible is pretty much my go-to, even if it isn't the best deal.
What I also do is set a timer on Audible for 90 mins to make sure it plays while I fall asleep. I get mild insomnia sometimes. Anyway, it works!
There is also an audiobook from Audible narrated by award-winning performer Zura Johnson (who is a delight).
