Pros

  • Love magical athlete
  • Parent context: I'm going to be honest, I don't see the appeal of Magical Athlete at all. After the draft, there are no decisions to be made, other than the handful of characters that give you an option to do a thing. The game basically...
  • Everyone I've put it in front of so far has laughed there asses off. The perfect kind of dumb.
  • Magical Athlete 🏁 BG group’s new favorite✨
  • In the last year, I bought/was gifted: Voidfall, Compile, Bomb Busters, Andromeda's Edge, Harmonies, Magical Athlete and Ark Nova.

Cons

  • Magical Athlete still in the plastic … the disrespect

I got Magical Athlete because of Richard Garfield speaking of its creativity. But ultimately, the game feels like a children's game and has very little actual gameplay involved. It's not really for a gamers market, more for those kind of people who play Monopoly.

I do also love Magical Athlete's style. It's up there for sure. I actually played it last night with my buddies and I was honestly concerned it wouldn't be that engaging but we only stopped playing to get food... It's become an instant classic for us.
