Logitech G27

Pros

• G27 was a great entry for me back then and lasted for years before I could/wanted to spend more for an upgrade.
• As someone who is still using an ancient G27 I can confirm that If you're waiting for it to die before doing an upgrade your going to be waiting a long time.
• I got a used G27 for $55 USD, a free Ikea desk mounting-taped to the floor to keep it stable, and a $22 USD “cinema chair”, and now I have a functional sim racing setup for cheap to play AMS 2, AC, and ACC!
• I'll be honest, I don't think I'll be buying a higher torque DD base any time soon. The G27 lasyed me 10 years.
• My g27 lasted 12 years and only reason I upgraded was for direct drive. I still use g27 shifter.

Cons

• Perhaps i’ll dust off the g27 soon.
• The 5Nm is more than enough and a MASSIVE jump from the G27 I had before.
• The guy dominating SF23 pubs atm is a teenager on a G27 and LC brake with a library chair Great kid but man it hurts to get smoked that bad by someone knowing they are on such a jank setup
• I should get one of these to run with my G27.
