LibreOffice

Pros
- I need it to be able to run LibreOffice with Zotero citation manager integration seamlessly, or as well as it did in 2010 or whatever. That is the only thing I need.
- If you still use MS Office, cease with that, and start using LibreOffice.
- I recommend LibreOffice, as that’s what I use and it’s great.
- And no, don’t dual boot for Office, LibreOffice is so much better.
- I don’t care much for MS office I can use libre office just every day speed and stability and security.
Cons
- I don't mind switching to libreoffice or equivalents if linux doesn't suppot office
- My only issue with it is I find it a hassle when using LibreOffice or any app installed using the terminal because I have to open the terminal first before opening the app to make them work
- Also if he needs it it comes with LibreOffice for if he needs to write letters for what ever reason.
- writing (LaTeX, markdown, LibreOffice), web browsing, photo editing and storage
- LOffice is the same.

Libre Office works ( there are ways to make it look as close as possible to ms Office)
My only issue with it is I find it a hassle when using LibreOffice or any app installed using the terminal because I have to open the terminal first before opening the app to make them work
Ms office will not work on Linux but there are alternatives like libre office and only office that work just as well
