Legion Pro 7

Pros

• I will say the pro 7 is regularly considered the best laptop on the market right now
• I went from a bs gf66 katana to a legion pro 7, best decision ever
• Legion pro 7 with 5080 1TB+1TB SSD and 64GB RAM for $1609 is an excellent deal.
• I have pro 7 with 5070-ti and the Intel processor. It runs little everything I play in 1440p ans 1600p in balanced mode with high fps and low temps... I'm so impressed with it I feel like I got a really good silicone lottery win or somet...

Cons

• Since 2022 they renamed their Legion 7 series to "Legion Pro 7" but ironically made it less Pro by removing a lot of features and using a cheaper build, similar to earlier Legion 5 Pros, most notably with a plastic keyboard desk instead...
• There are only two Legions available here, both Legion Pro 7, and one is paired with RTX 5090 and is crazy expensive, while the other is paired with a 4090 8GB and less storage, is closer to the price of the ROGs, but still more expensive.
• If i was you i would get AMD as i refunded Intel first as it was unusable. It was legion pro 7 with 275HX
• PRO 7 AMD lines have been reported to have issues with speakers when in low volume. Keep that in mind. PRO 7 has all aluminium body while Pro 5 has only it cover in aluminium. PRO 7 has better thermals due to implementing a vapor cha...
• I have the 5080 version of the Legion Pro 7, which I think has more customization options that you mentioned... since I play in a dimmed room, the RGB light from the laptop gets very distracting, so I turned it all off...
