Pros
- Been using the 3-blade Leaf Razor for a year now. Its pivoting head is super comfortable for head shaving, no need for weird angles or difficult maneuvers, gets the job done quickly and smoothly. It's also very good for face shaving, alt...
- Try the Leaf Razor. Easy learning curve.
- I was skeptical about the leaf, but it did exactly what I was hoping for. I didn’t use their blades, just broke apart a couple Nacets. An easy shave like a cartridge, handles well around and under the jawbone due to the pivoting head, bu...
- i've seen the leaf razor recommended for body shaving
- If you shave, you can get a razor with interchangeable blades, like a safety razor - I like my Leaf but there are plenty of other brands too. While you do need to change the blades, they’re much, much cheaper than the average razor head...
Cons
- Reason for the leaf, it is bulky and the pivot is a bit too stiff for those areas, the pressure needed to pivot the head is more pressure than I would like to apply.
- It's a great head shaving razor, but losing one magnet in the first couple months, and having one covered in rust doesn't inspire confidence of it being a long term option.
- It doesn’t work well for lining up sideburns or under the nose due to its massive size, so I used the DE for that.
- Using leaf razor I don’t get as close shave as with my adjustable Tatara Muramasa so I usually end up using muramasa instead.
- I also had one of the magnets pull out on the first blade change. Even with all 3 blade slots filled, astra, feather, derby, I never could get as close as I wanted and found I was taking way too much extra time going over and over and ov...

I was skeptical about the leaf, but it did exactly what I was hoping for. I didn’t use their blades, just broke apart a couple Nacets. An easy shave like a cartridge, handles well around and under the jawbone due to the pivoting head, but with sharper blades, cleaner shave, nicer handle feel, and less clogging than a cartridge.

If you shave, you can get a razor with interchangeable blades, like a safety razor - I like my Leaf but there are plenty of other brands too. While you do need to change the blades, they’re much, much cheaper than the average razor head replacement and can be recycled; I still have the original pack of blades included with my purchase from 5 years ago, haven’t spent a dime on shaving since.
I also had one of the magnets pull out on the first blade change. Even with all 3 blade slots filled, astra, feather, derby, I never could get as close as I wanted and found I was taking way too much extra time going over and over and over places to get them as smooth as a wanted. The twig and thorn are special though, you can get much closer with them. They are legit, I loved the 3 blade when I got it other than the disappointing durability issues, but after the twig and other DE safety razors it seems pretty gimmicky now.
