Pros

• my biggest recommendation goes to Le Labo's sample set. Almost everything is different and I like just about every other perfume. Even though they have sorta generic names, most of them have a lot of dimension beyond just the ingredient...
• I prefer le labo
• lately I’ve been reaching for my Fugazi and Le Labo scents!
• I am a fan of clean scents and always use brands like Byredo, Diptyque or Le Labo until now
• My first introduction to Byredo was actually at a hotel several years ago, same with Le Labo! These hotels were partially responsible for my eventual dive into niche fragrances.

Cons

• le labo has not been cruelty free since around 2023, when estee lauder bought the company and started to open stores in china since chinese law requires animal testing for all cosmetics
• In Korea, the trending brand for the past year is le labo. I see and smell it everywhere. It’s not for me personally though.
• Love Le Labo but buying 1.5ml sample vials is $/ml cheaper than the 15ml bottle by a margin significant enough that I will probably just never buy an actual bottle from them and keep coasting on samples.
• I’m filing a dispute through Amex and strongly recommend anyone considering ordering from Le Labo to only shop in-store (if at all). Their concierge service is a nightmare, they don’t keep records straight, and they will lie to protect t...
