Lanshan 1

Pros
- Alternatively, a friend of mine has the Lanshan 1 and isn't likely to change it any time soon; it more than survived the Cairngorms a couple of months ago.
- I’m in the U.K. as well, unless you are summit camping lanshan will be fine. Just choose your pitch carefully and use good pegs (eastons for example). Loads of people have done the CWT with a Lanshan which has fairly punishing weather.
- Lanshan 1 is less than 200 quid and 690g.
- the lanshan 1 gets a good name for itself.
- Pero luego vi la funda interior Lanshan 1 es básicamente 100 g más pesada y cuesta al menos 100 euros menos (dependiendo del vivac).
Cons
- While the lanshan 1 is listed as 2.30, the sides of the inner tent are kinda baggy and hanging down and you will have it draped over your face at night. I have the same tent and I love it, but I'm 1.78 and it's just fine for me.
- I used it a bit in Schotland and tho it did help a lot with midges there were still some that got into the tent. Honestly I would still consider it good for most cases but if you are in an area with swarms of them there might be maybe 10...
- However I heard that the Pro is not worth it as it's more expensive and has problems with condensation.
- I love the tent but could never fit my pack inside with me. It's not possible and it's fine in the vestibule.

Honestly I would still consider it good for most cases but if you are in an area with swarms of them there might be maybe 10 to 20 in there by the morning, which is still much better than thousends outside.

Both the Lanshan 1 or the Lanshan 2 can be found for 120-140€ on AliExpress and would save a ton already.
