But from Ljubljana you can do Bled, you can do Bohinj, you can do Postojna + Predjama. All of it is amazing.

Also, as a general suggestion, look for accommodation in Bohinj instead of Bled and Cavtat instead of Dubrovnik. Way easier on the huge crowds and equally huge prices.

but honestly lake bohinj was way more chill and less crowded, you can take a bus from bled.

It is nice to stay in Bohinj for a couple of days. From there, you can do a hut-to-hut hike, or you can be stationed in Bohinj and do 1 day hikes. Bohinj/Bled It is a very good starting point for hiking, as you can see here: [https://www.altitude-activities.com/mountaineering]

You could easily do 10-14 days just in Slovenia. Ljubljana as a base, day trips to Bled and Bohinj, few days in the Soča Valley, maybe Piran on the coast if you want something different.

I might add Lake Bohinj. But the great thing about Slovenia is that everything is very close together – you can easily plan or change your mind about many things on the fly.

Stay near Lake Bohinj. You get beauuuuutiful Julian Alps scenery, way fewer crowds than Bled, and a cable car straight up to Vogel for hiking and views that look like they're right out of a postcard
