• it's such a popular choice for good reason! between the foaming texture and the niacinamide it genuinely does lift oil really well without overdrying.
• if you want a cleanser that genuinely clears all residual product without that cushiony hydrating afterfeel, the cerave foaming facial cleanser or la roche-posay effaclar purifying foaming gel are the two most recommended.
• La Roche-Posay Effaclar Purifying Foaming Gel
• The product names in the current order are: - La Roche-Posay Effaclar Purifying Foaming Gel / CeraVe Foaming Facial Cleanser (I recently used the purifying foaming cleanser)
• For oil control I'd try CeraVe Foaming Facial Cleanser or maybe La Roche-Posay Effaclar. Both are way gentler than Neutrogena but still cut through oil pretty well, and the CeraVe one doesn't strip your face like some of the harsh stuff...

Cons

• I’ve been using hydro cortizone on and off for a while just at night but my skins been basically the same, always getting breakouts the only time I don’t is when I go to my beach house where it’s tank water and for some reason it clears...
• My skincare is just La Roche-Posay Effaclar and L’Oréal Triple Active Moisturizer.
• Cleansers: La Roche-Posay Effaclar Purifying Foaming Gel (body and face)
• I used to use La Roche-Posay Effaclar Purifying Foaming Gel, but they changed the formula a while ago and added some actives to it. The reviews of the new formulation were pretty bad so I didn't try it since I know I react easily.
