Konnected

Pros

• Both are great. Both run esphome.
• i use a hardwired honeywell alarm system which is monitored through an actual company and a konnected.io piggybacks off that.
• Correct… Konnected makes two options, replace the entire panel with their kit (that’s why I did and it works great) or they sell a version that basically piggybacks on to your current system to make it smart.
• Another vote for Konnected. Great service and support.
• I am please with my Konnected kit. Optional noonlight monitoring for $10 a month.

Cons

• If a wired sensor you can install a module like konnected to integrate the wired sensors into home assistant or the automation platform of choice.
• Envisalink seems like the winner but I have to be missing something if konnected is 2x the price.
• Konnected. Had it since 2018, only problem I've ever had was the one time I tried to upgrade my firmware, almost bricked it and lost everything. Not sure why I even tried, the system did everything I needed it to do. So anyways - konnect...
