Pros
- I’ve had good luck with Delta, American Standard, Kohler and more recently the Delta multi choice shower valves.
- Who makes the tub? Kohler may be able to polish it with a sander. I know they fix their 10K free standers when there's chips.
- Kohler has great customer service. They sent me a replacement when mine broke.
- I replaced a fairly standard American Standard with a Kohler and it's been working out great. The flush is pretty good, I had to tweak it a bit once I got it installed to get a good one, but it wasn't much. It has a large water area in t...
- Parent context: Toto Drake w/ Tornado. And, if you want to spoil yourself, get the Washlet bidet seat - wonderful! Reply: We have both the Drake and a KOHLER model that looks similar. I prefer the kohler, so much so I’ve considered swapp...
Cons
- I’ll never buy another Kohler product again. 25 years ago, maybe. Now? Not a chance.
- To Kohler’s credit, they sent me the replacement parts several times.
- I'm going to stay away from Kohler, as a relative had one leaking the same way old toilets leak when the flapper needs to be replaced, (which costs $5) , We couldn't find the part even with the number anywhere including at Kohler. Close...
- I've taken caddies at Erin, Kohler, and the Sand Valley courses and also played them without a caddy in the scenario OP described.

I'm going to stay away from Kohler, as a relative had one leaking the same way old toilets leak when the flapper needs to be replaced, (which costs $5) , We couldn't find the part even with the number anywhere including at Kohler. Close thing was $55 and no idea if it fit. Kohler abandoned that flush "system" because it was lousy.
I replaced a fairly standard American Standard with a Kohler and it's been working out great. The flush is pretty good, I had to tweak it a bit once I got it installed to get a good one, but it wasn't much. It has a large water area in the bowl I really like and the design of the seat and bowl make it easy to clean.

Most Kohlers are good too.
