King C Gillette

Pros

• A King C Gillette will run you about $30 or so and will also work.
• One of my favorites! My son traded mine for his Merkur 34c - not sure why, but he likes the KCG more.
• I recently started off with a KCG and have since purchased a nice starter set from Stirling Soap Company.
• Razor: King C Gillette
• I use the latter daily because it's less aggressive, while the Parker feels a bit too harsh for me.

Cons

• I bought a KCG just to see what they were like. I used it two or three times and put it away. Pulled it out a couple of months later just to try again, and put it away again. I don’t anticipate pulling it out again.
• I came from the King C. Gillette.
• If you want to pump up the smoothness, I've found the King C Gillette russian blades aren't bad, but they're unforgiving.
• I am new to safety razor shaving, about 3 months only, and use a King C Gillette. It came with 5 blades I think are Russian-made. They did the job, felt a bit better after a couple of uses, but pulled a lot and did not feel that nice.
• The King C Gillette is very mild, too mild in my opinion, but may be good if you have very sensitive skin
