Pros

  • Same here with the n1s ultra. I use keystone pretty often and personally don’t notice much difference in real use. Might just be that the base image is sharp enough that it holds up
  • I move my projector around a lot between the living room and bedroom, so it’s not always perfectly centered, so I end up using keystone pretty often on my jmgo n1s ultra. To my eyes, it still looks fine. Movies look sharp and nothing fee...
  • jmgo n1s ultra, it’s in the post
  • I’m currently using a jmgo n1s ultra in a non-dedicated living room, with the projector on a movable stand. Right now, it’s projecting onto a light-colored wall about 10 feet away, and honestly, the image looks really good.
  • I’m using a JMGO N1s Ultra right now. Picture and sound have been solid for me, and the bass actually surprised me a bit.

Cons

  • It does have built-in YouTube, but typing with the on-screen keyboard using only the directional buttons gets annoying pretty fast, so I usually keep it hooked up to my PC instead.
  • Initially I was about to buy the JMGO N1S Ultra. Then I saw some good reviews for the newer Dangbei MP1 Max. Seems like both of these come with some drawbacks, which should be normal for this price I gues.

I move my projector around a lot between the living room and bedroom, so it’s not always perfectly centered, so I end up using keystone pretty often on my jmgo n1s ultra. To my eyes, it still looks fine. Movies look sharp and nothing feels obviously off.

Parent context: Have you thought about mounting it? I’ve got the Ultra too, and the image quality has been great for me, I’d definitely try dialing in the placement before giving up on it. For the price you wont get a better Lazer projector.

The image looks really clean in darker scenes, and the colors look more natural than I expected. It’s also way quieter than any projector I’ve had before, which is great since I use it mostly at night.

If you want to save some money though, the Ultra is absolutely fine, the picture difference is small unless you watch with lights on.
