Jim Beam

Pros

• That's only $37.38 USD. Cheap as hell.
• You picked this up around the time I had a sample from Flaviar… ugh… was not a good introduction to bourbon outside Jim Beam.
• Id rather drink $15 dollar Jim Beam or Evan Williams Any day, any night, of the week.
• I've been drinking Jim Beam since college days, but mostly as a mixer (Coke or sour mix). ... even a Jim Beam white tastes good with simple syrup, bitters, and a couple of black cherries.
• If you truly only want one big distillery and tour, Jim Beam is probably your best option. Lots of tour options, good gift shop with unique bottles and a good restaurant.

Cons

• I could once only get Jim Beam, and it was drinkable but I might not buy it again.
• I know I don’t like Wild Turkey, 4 roses, or Jim beam in general
• I have been drinking whiskey since college but mostly mixed drinks and most of the time it was your typical Jack, Crown and Jim Beam.
• Staying in downtown Louisville and have tickets to visit: Woodford, Bardstown Bourbon Company, Jim Beam, Castle & Key (recommended on this sub), and some horse farm near Lexington my girlfriend booked.
• The bourbon I used was Jim Beam. ... I tried the Jim Beam on the rocks and it was just too harsh for me to be able to enjoy it. I’ll definitely still use it for cocktails, though!
