- Jay Peak is amazing, arguably the best mountain on the East Coast.
- Jay Peak is a top three east coast mountain for me - I think it’s a no brainer. Enjoy the Jay Cloud and bring your low light goggles !
- Dude I’m sitting in a cabin slopeside at Jay Peak. It just stopped snowing adding another couple inches to the 150inches this year and counting. Not going to be above freezing in the near future. Supposed to continue snowing intermittent...

Cons
- Parent context: No one is saying they don't get more snow than Stowe. But they are still lying about their total. Reply: Having skiied both Jay gets maybe 5-10% more on average. Yet they report maybe 50% more. Their mountain operations a...

- They can get great snow and it’s a lot of fun when they do (like now). However, y’all need to know that Jay is the only major mountain in Vermont without a webcam of its snowstake. They are currently claiming 6ft more snow than Mt. Mansf...

Parent context: No one is saying they don't get more snow than Stowe. But they are still lying about their total. Reply: Having skiied both Jay gets maybe 5-10% more on average. Yet they report maybe 50% more. Their mountain operations also aren't as well run as stowe. They take longer to open terrain and get lifts running. For those reasons I prefer stowe (plus I consider stowe side/backcountry to be better).

They can get great snow and it’s a lot of fun when they do (like now). However, y’all need to know that Jay is the only major mountain in Vermont without a webcam of its snowstake. They are currently claiming 6ft more snow than Mt. Mansfield just 35 miles south on the same spine.

Dude I’m sitting in a cabin slopeside at Jay Peak. It just stopped snowing adding another couple inches to the 150inches this year and counting. Not going to be above freezing in the near future. Supposed to continue snowing intermittently this week. If your goal is excellent skiing and don’t mind the lack of other amenities, this is the best snow in North America currently.

Jay is obviously the most likely to give you pow since it has its own weird microclimate.
