Pros

  • Ischgl is a much more convenient Resort imo.
  • There are resorts where people will go for off piste on marked routes, ski routes. They're mitigated to a point... St Anton, Ischgl, Verbier, Chamonix all have some of mitigation
  • Ischgl would also be another option.
  • I would suggest Ischgl or St Anton - both are great for advanced skiers and Apres.
  • If it were me I'd just do something in Austria. Ischgl, Kitzbuhel, or Mayrhofen. ... Big terrain options, always parties happening.

Cons

  • Ishgl is a purpose-built expensive result and lacks character compared to other Austrian towns. But it has great apres ski.

Ischgl was a great time, it’s a smaller resort but it’s a super fun party town.

Ischgl is huge and has gobs of off-piste. ... It’s huge—bigger than Cham. Great terrain all over.

Ischgl is fab but can be a little more pricey. It's always great on powder day though.

Was in Ischgl in April '24. Was 20 degrees Celsius in the valley. But still good to perfect conditions on the slopes. Could even board to the valley. ... Ischgl had more variety of pistes. I go to Sölden regularly, but would always go for Ischgl around mid April.
