Pros
- finished Infinitevania which has proven to be a hidden gem. It does nothing exceptional but it also does nothing wrong aside from the unity stutter issues.
- Definitely fixed because I played this last week and had no issue at all
- On the steam deck I began playing infinitevania which has proven to be decent so far.
- This game has exceeded expectations and gotten a really warm reception. It has been particularly praised by people for its fast paced gameplay and smooth movement. Combat and platforming has also been praised. The only criticism has been...
- This is not really above the average MV, but I had fun with it enough to play until I got 100%. After a weak start, things get better and I enjoyed the movement and platforming.
Cons
- I played this game and I didn't see that at all (I also thought it was very, very mid).
- I don't know if you had issues or not but my game crashed 3-4 times on steam deck while I was playing it.
- As far as gameplay is concerned, It is a generic but well made modern metroidvania that thankfully does not have a corpse run. ... Anyway, while this isn't particularly exceptional, it is still a decent metroidvania that makes me miss th...

As far as gameplay is concerned, It is a generic but well made modern metroidvania that thankfully does not have a corpse run. ... Anyway, while this isn't particularly exceptional, it is still a decent metroidvania that makes me miss the glory of SotN. You should buy it on sale. There is only one downside to this game, and its a pretty big one: Unity stutter. It's everywhere.
On the steam deck I began playing infinitevania which has proven to be decent so far.
I played Infinitevania. Hugely disappointing, considering it claims to be "heavily inspired by Castlevania: Symphony of the Night". There are zero RPG elements, no levelling up, no weapons, gear, skills or spells apart from a single fireball for the entire game. Oh, and it's hub-based. There isn't one single interconnected map.

I played through Infinitevania which is pretty basic but does everything good enough. I liked the biomes and bosses. I had some issues with grabbing onto handles during platforming sections which was frustrating. The game also crashed on me 5 times during my playthrough on steam deck. ... Im putting this in C tier as well. Its good but not great.
This is not really above the average MV, but I had fun with it enough to play until I got 100%. After a weak start, things get better and I enjoyed the movement and platforming.
