HyperX

Pros
- Within your budget all gaming headsets will be pretty comparable to one-another due to limitations, but I think that HyperX is the best in the budget wired-headset department.
Cons
- I just got tired of buying razers, steelseries and hyperX's that sometimes last only barely a year and often get mic problems or require some sort of audio calibration.
- I personally dislike hyperx so I can't give a great recommendation otherwise
- HyperX makes good headsets, but yeah the mic can be mediocre at best.
- I have been looking at Hyper X’s and I’ve seen the microphone quality isn’t that good.
- he'd need a desktop microphone (i.e. BM-700) or Yeti USB or HyperX.

Parent context: bass is the not the main problem, the problem I have with the hyperx is that I don't hear details that I used to hear on my sony ones and it just seems muffled, even songs that don't have much bass just sound bad Reply: No offence, but that's likely just your own bias at work. While HyperX certainly isn't known for its great music quality, it's a well-studied and proven phenomenon that a sound being even slightly louder or more intense will have it be perceived as deeper and more detailed by most people - that's exactly the effect cheap earphones like that rely on in dialing up the bass.
Most gaming brands like HyperX and Razer don't make good headsets
for the love of god please don’t get turtle beaches, razor or hyperx.
And I've seen people complaining about the quality of HyperX declining a lot recently, which is why I wanted to switch to something more durable.
