Cons

• It wasn't all that long ago that at least a few people here would tell me hyper-v was absolute dogshit not suitable for production and I was a fool for using it over hyper-v.
• We are already in the process of migrating to AWS (we already have a large AWS presence) and Hyper-V.
• Hyper-v would have also been an increase in pricing compared to old vmware prices as we are only about 5% Microsoft.
• we use Hyper-V but have a few proxmox hosts for testing
