Pros

  • My mon treated by pouring hydrogen peroxide twice a day then povidone-iodine afterwards before putting on a bandage. It left a scar (which i still find ugly lol) but nevertheless it healed up the wound effectively.
  • 3% hydrogen peroxide 1 part to 3 parts water. Works great for fungus gnats
  • Hydrogen peroxide can kill insects on contact, after which it degrades into water and oxygen, leaving no harmful residues as other chemical methods would.
  • Ive found that soaking it in diluted hydrogen peroxide does wonders for loosening the soil around roots

Cons

  • I also dabbled with hydrogen peroxide but didnt find it worked very well on hair algae. ... I have also tried completely emptying the tank water and wiping the glass down with hydrogen peroxide. This works well but was not fixing the cau...
