Pros
- I’ve got a Humminguru and I love it.
- The set and forget feature of the Humminguru makes it a clear winner. Super easy to clean bulk purchases, and it disappears away in a corner neatly when not needed.
- I find the humminguru is amazing at cleaning new records and is so easy, because it is filled, push button, done.
- It provides a meaningfully deeper clean and is largely hands off (especially if you get a wash/dry unit like the Humminguru). It’s been one of the biggest single upgrades to my vinyl experience.
- The Humminguru is the best investment I have made in my record collection journey, followed by a good cartridge and a great phono stage. Highly recommend!
Cons
- I don't think you need to buy a HumminGuru record cleaner at all unless you are running a record store(my local record store has burned through several units and refuses to carry them because they didn't even last a year under daily use)...
- The humminguru is an ultrasonic that costs 3x as much. Not sure how much different it is without trying it.
- I’m curious if the HumminGuru is worth the money. See some mixed reviews on the product.
- A HumminGuru is a possibility to buy but I’ll try my luck with hand cleaning first.

I know folks love the device and I'm not saying it doesn't work but I am saying that it has some long-term reliability issues

I love love love my Humminguru. I also have a vacuum cleaner, but rarely use it now unless records have visible gunk. But every record that comes in the door, new or used, goes through the ultrasonic before going onto the table. Makes a huge difference and I couldn’t go back.
