Pros

  • once I got a Yellow, it freed me up to focus on Home Assistant tinkering (and not Linux / virtual machines / networking / etc).
  • But I am running the same hub - home assistant yellow, for IR, RF, WiFi, ZigBee, BLE and Thread devices.
  • Keep in mind Home Assistant, you will be needing a device (Either Home Assistant Green/Yellow, or Raspberry Pi if you aren't going to run a Virtual machine on one of your computers)
