Pros

  • Next time you go dont miss Fox Farm in Connecticut and Hill Farmstead in Vermont
  • They’ll always be the GOAT
  • Grab some Fidens, then a few from Hill Farmstead and maybe toss in some Jester King
  • Tough to nail it down to a single beer, but obliged to mention two of the best barrel programs in the country: Side Project for the stouts and barleywines, and Hill Farmstead for their wild ales. Tough to go wrong with any of their offer...
  • Hill Farmstead did this for me

Cons

  • Hill Farmstead we went twice, but it was damned expensive to drink there all day, I doubt I'd go back, but I would always get an Anna, Shirley Mae, or Poetica again when I see it.
  • Honestly this post is way too try-hard. They’re trying to use big words and big framing to make people think they have big ideas but the reality is that they make a very good, very well crafted intoxicating beverage.

Hill Farmstead in Vermont. ... all of the above make great lambic style beers.

If I really get the itch for top shelf, I make a case run to Tree House or hit up the local taproom when they put Hill Farmstead on.

Hillfarmstead - no question. Everything they make is exceptional regardless of style. It’s hard to get their beer and they sell bottles at the brewery for pretty reasonable prices.
