Reddit take

Not enough linked mention summaries yet; the source excerpts below are the evidence.

Pros

  • Haruharu is the best
  • When I switched to drug store or drug store adjacent cleanser, toner/ essence, chemical exfoliants and moisturizer I had better results. I use Prequel, Paula’s choice, and HaruHaru.
  • Haruharu and skin1004 are my most consistently good brands generally on everything else it’s a hit or miss
  • But I think haruharu is the best option (chemical version).
  • I have tried HaruHaru and VT? I really like them both but don’t like the acne that comes with it.

Cons

  • i live in the tropics and the haruharu makes me quite oilh after applying plus it burns my eyes
  • For the record I dislike Haruharu (that yellow tube one) and Skin 1004 (blue cap I think?) cos those 2 never really set on my skin.
  • If you want haruharu it's perfect if you'll most be indoors or if you know you wont be outside for long. You'll have to reapply often.
  • I looked into the haruharu one for night and the purio gel one for day. Would these be a good choice?
  • Apologies if this is a repeated question, I'm not too sure if the popular sunscreens still work well in this situation (skin1004, haruharu, BoJ, etc)
