Pros

  • My new chair is actually a complete change to the one I have now it's a HAG Capisco it encourages active sitting there's lots of different ways to sit on it and it has a saddle type seat.
  • my all time holy grail of seats is now close to $950: the HAG Capisco. Designed more for doctors, you can turn the seat around and use the seat back for leaning forwards on and the + shape of the back gives your elbows somewhere to lean....
  • HAG Capisco is a great chair, but few people can afford it.
  • I replaced my IKEA Markus chair with a sinfully expensive HAG Capisco. It was the best decision ever. ... The Capisco is designed to be sat on in different positions and the semi arm-rests allow sitting sideways and even backwards on it
  • I second the tailbone friendly cushion recommended above, and definitely hold the hag capisco in high regard.

my all time holy grail of seats is now close to $950: the HAG Capisco. Designed more for doctors, you can turn the seat around and use the seat back for leaning forwards on and the + shape of the back gives your elbows somewhere to lean. I borrowed one for a week and loved it.

Not a kneeling chair, but hag capisco will go high enough and encourages me to change positions frequently.

I'll look at the Hag Capisco though! I love to sit cross legged

Hag capisco if you want a comfortable saddle chair, and you can switch to the secret labs for chilling/dinner etc. That's what I told myself I'd do anyway, but I'm lazy and I actually sit cross legged on the capisco without any issues, so its become my permanent chair.

Hag capisco is what I settled on. I have a short body so I needed the height from the capisco to get me high enough to reach the keyboard/table, but keep my thighs/knees out of the way. ... As for the hag - I actually sit cross legged on it fairly frequently, it's nice and adaptive for someone like me who tends to move around a chunk.

I actually bought the hag capisco because it goes up high, but has a short seat that drops your thighs so you can get in close to table (I'm so short waisted, my legs would need to be above the table to comfortably type/write 😂).
