Just wanted to recommend "Hacksaw Ridge" (2016) for anyone who loves intense war dramas with heart. It’s based on the true story of Desmond Doss, a combat medic during WWII who saved 75 men without carrying a weapon. Directed by Mel Gibson, the movie has some of the most gripping battle scenes I’ve seen — but it’s the emotional and moral depth that really stayed with me.
I watched Hacksaw Ridge just the other day. It’s a truly amazing story.
Hacksaw Ridge was another great war movie. The story of Desmond Doss rescuing all those men without a weapon.
