They are largish for EDC especially if you are shorter but because they are relatively low profile to your back they don’t look ridiculous. They are perfect if you’re carrying gym stuff like shoes and a belt. I’ve used mine for overnights and 3 days and it’s adequate. They have a military tactical vibe although I don’t think it’s totally over the top if you get it in a solid color. They are pretty solidly built. The only thing missing is a lot of pockets and built-in organization.
