Pros

  • Get any google pixel 3, pixel 4, or pixel 5 phone. Doesn't matter if it's the XL version or the budget a series one, they all use the same main sensor. And it's pretty good.
  • Pixel 5 sounds perfect for you. Small, light, rear fingerprint, wireless charging, minimal bloat. For 200 it’s a comfy upgrade from Pixel 3 without changing the feel.
  • Between Pixel 5 and iPhone 12 mini, I would choose the Pixel 5.
  • I really enjoyed its form factor and i'm not willing to go for a bigger phone.
  • Never had that issue, My pixel 5 and 7 both had better battery life than either of my iPhones or samsungs.

Cons

  • Pixel 5 sucks it was a budget phone.
  • My Pixel 5 is from 2020. Battery dies by 2pm with moderate use. But otherwise it's perfect, camera is still great, no lag, no cracks, does everything I need.
  • i'm concerned about Pixel 5 being End of Life device and therefore not receiving security updates anymore
  • Hey, I moved from a Pixel 5, so similar position to you...

I've gotten VERY used to the Pixel 5's 6" form factor. I actually upgraded to the 6 briefly but found it too big and heavy and ran back to the 5.

I'm still hanging on to my pixel 5 but the charging point has had it. ... it still runs perfectly and has all day battery life
