Glossika

Pros
- For reading - Glossika, LingQ
- I know Glossika has a Hakka course.
- I’ve started using Glossika to work on my pronunciation. It’s so much better than what I hear on Duolingo.
- I like glossika for mindless passive learning that has a real effect on how you speak. It's not a comprehensive solution but it'll get you talking and listening. And as a bonus for whatever reason a lot of their content is medical themed
- Overall solid app that I can see myself paying for.
Cons
- The consensus online is Pimsleur / Glossika / Shadowing but in my case, those seem to be reinforcing bad tones (since I can't hear myself making mistakes as I repeat).
- Glossika does as well but it's more expensive than LingQ and more boring to me.
- 10 mins of speaking (Glossika, but I don’t recommend it) ... Glossika isn’t good for much.
- You could try something like Glossika, but it's very difficult to learn a language with only one method.
- Other apps reviewed are Duolingo, Language Transfer, Pimsleur, Anki (a flashcard app), Glossika, and Bee Lingua.

Use tools like Pinyin Trainer (app) or Glossika’s tone drills.

My routine right now has been hello Chinese,du Chinese, and I’m about to add in something like glossika for speaking practice.
