Gillette Slim

Pros

• Highly suggest a gillette slim for a vintage razor.
• Parent context: I am as much of a fan of Slims as I am Fatboys and own several of each. Could tell why they’re so sought after and highly regarded straight after my first shave with a Slim. Reply: Yep. They're glorious. I have a few slim...
• I have a Henson Medium and a Black Beauty (and a Slim) and I use the Henson more often.
• My Fat Boy and Slim deliver much better shaves than either of the Hensons and I love holding a bit of history in my hand.
• Gillette slim is great, just be sure to clean and lubricate

Cons

• But I do not think the Slim covered things like either of those.
• They either mean adjustables (like Gillette Slim or Merkur Progress)
• I also have a Gillette slim, two techs, Edwin Jagger DE89 and tried the Blackland Blackbird Ti.
• Try a Gillette adjustable (Fatboy, Slim, 109, or 84).
• I've seen plenty of positive revews of the Slim, but I've also seen people saying that it doesn't really measure up to modern razors, which makes me hesitant to pull the trigger.
