Fjällräven Räven 28

Pros

• I have a Fjallraven 'Raven 28' that I use for commuting. Could probably do most of what you want... Quite a lot of compartments which I find useful for work as I carry a laser measure, tapes, torch, etc. along with the more common stuff.
• My wife has had her 28L for at least a year now. She carries her laptop in it everyday, along with the charger, lots of papers, makeup bag, random other stuff, glasses, wallet, etc. Despite the abuse she puts it thru, it still looks perf...
• I'm going to snag the Raven 28 as I want the separate laptop compartment
• I think for my needs, the Raven 28 is good value as better bags look like they cost double the price or more, for features that don't apply to me.
• I love mine. It’s a great size. The organization is amazing. And the material is definitely long lasting.

Cons

• For the price point I think it’s an excellent pack—fits a lot in a good size, built well, looks good. The back panel, shoulder straps, and water bottle pockets could use some improvement but I never had any issues.
• Raven was the only product of theirs that disappointed me quality wise, I had both a smaller and a larger version and both had the same problem.
• Raven on the other hand, I saw a bit of wear and tear already after a few months on the bottom corners of the bag.
• Raven has more compartments/pockets, which I honestly am not a huge fan of as I think they just eat space, but if you’re into it, then that’s better there, but it’s so damn uncomfortable on the back.
• Raven doesn’t have any back padding and my back really hurt... One thing I didn’t like about Raven esp. was that it flopped immediately as you put it on the ground.
